I sent a used mobile phone from France to Scotland through La Poste/Chronopost. The phone was securely packed in a sleek, compact box reinforced with duct tape. Since this was an international shipment, I also completed and attached the required customs declaration form at the time of posting.
The parcel was handed over at the La Poste counter and accepted without any issues. However, the shipment never reached the recipient, and the tracking information has remained unchanged for several days. I am raising this claim as the sender because the parcel is now considered lost. I am requesting an investigation and compensation for the declared value of the item, in accordance with Chronopost’s international shipping conditions.
